The TFA VIEW METEO wireless weather station with WiFi offers all the functions of a classic wireless weather station and can also be used independently without a WiFi connection and app. Outside temperature and humidity on site are determined via a radio transmitter and sent to the station with a range of up to 100 m (in the open air), an indoor sensor measures the room climate, the upcoming weather is displayed in the form of symbols and there are additional functions such as maximum and lows, dew point and alarm settings, as well as a clock with date and day of the week in full. The high-contrast color display can be regulated in three brightness levels and dimmed automatically at night. The integration of the weather station into the local WLAN is carried out via the free TFA VIEW app. Once the station is connected to the Internet, the VIEW METEO shows all of its possibilities. The display changes and a small symbol indicates which information will now be imported via the online weather service. Instead of the weather forecast based on the air pressure changes, you now get a professional and continuously updated 12-hour forecast for the region. In addition, other interesting weather details such as the expected maximum and minimum temperatures and the probability of rain appear. The time and calendar are regularly updated and you can even use the TFA VIEW app to program personal messages or additional weather information to be shown on the weather station display. With the use of the free VIEW app, the range of services becomes even larger: You can call up the measured values of the VIEW METEO weather station worldwide with a tablet or mobile device, view the recordings of the last 30 days, set alarm limits and be informed by push notification in the event of an alarm. The supplied thermo-hygro transmitter can be supplemented with up to 50 additional radio transmitters and devices that can be called up via the app.
