Jan van Haasteren is a Dutch comic artist, best known for his characters Baron van Tast and Tinus Trotyl. In the 1980s, Jan came into contact with the games and puzzles manufacturer Jumbo. The rest is history. Jan van Haasteren has been creating extremely detailed, colorful and above all humorous illustrations for decades. Many of his fans immediately look for Jan's trademark — the shark fin that can be found on every puzzle.
