This makes it ideal for enthusiasts looking for a true premium-grade fan that can be colour-coordinated with popular build themes such as all black, black & white or black & red.<br><br><b>Self-adhesive anti-vibration pads in 6 colours</b><br>The NF-A12x15 PWM chromax.black.swap comes with 8 swappable, self-adhesive anti-vibration pads in black, white, red, blue, green and yellow respectively, which allow the fan to be fully colour-customised in order to coordinate it with other components or popular build schemes.<br><br><b>Optional coloured cables</b><br>Noctua’s chromax line fans use a modular cabling system and come pre-fitted with a fully sleeved black NA-EC1 30cm cable. For refined colour coordination, white, red, blue, green and yellow 30cm NA-EC1 cables plus corresponding NA-YC1 y-cables are available separately.<br><br><b>15mm slim design</b><br>Having a thickness of only 15mm, the NF-A12x15 is much slimmer than standard 120x25mm fans. This makes it ideal for typical slim fan applications such as low-profile CPU coolers as well as for freeing up space by replacing standard 120x25mm fans on tower coolers, radiators or in PC cases.<br><br><b>Metal-reinforced motor hub</b><br>With many larger-diameter slim fan designs, the shorter axis and bearing lead to a reduced running stability and lifespan. The NF-A12x15 uses a metal-reinforced motor hub, a measure typically found in high-speed industrial fans, in order to guarantee Noctua’s signature stability and longevity.<br><br><b>Flow Acceleration Channels</b><br>The NF-A12x15 impeller features suction side Flow Acceleration Channels. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.<br><br><b>Custom-designed PWM IC with SCD</b><br>Supporting fully automatic PWM speed control, the fan uses Noctua's custom-designed NE-FD1 PWM IC that integrates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By providing smoother torque impulses, SCD suppresses PWM switching noises and thus makes the fan quieter at low speeds.<br><br><b>Stops at 0% PWM</b><br>When the fan is set to 0% PWM duty cycle by the motherboard or PWM fan controller, it will stop. This makes it ideal for creating setups with semi-passive cooling that automatically turn the fans off and thus run completely silent at idle if thermals allow.<br><br><b>6-year manufacturer’s warranty</b><br>Noctua fans are renowned for their impeccable quality and outstanding longevity.
