The receiver converts serial optical data at 10 Gbit/s into PECL/CML serial electrical data. The single-mode SFP insert is equipped with a two-wire serial I2C interface for serial identification, digital diagnostics and module control. The improved digital diagnostics monitoring interface allows real time access to the SFP optical module, ensuring the monitoring of received optical power, laser beam current, laser output power, etc. Single-mode SFP+ modules work with 10 Gbps Ethernet, routers and SONET/SDH switches, 10G/8.5G/4.25G/2.125G/1.0625G optical channels and other 10 Gbps optical links.
